McGill’s RedAgent, the winner of the 2003 Trading Agent Competition Supply Chain Management (TAC SCM) scenario is examined. Supply chain management (SCM), the TAC SCM game and RedAgent’s unique market-based approach are introduced and described. RedAgent’s internal PC allocation market is analyzed, drawing comparisons between it and the class of scheduling problems.
